The holiday season is officially here! Wow, I can’t even believe it’s December already. Like seriously, where has the year gone? As we know, with the holidays comes the fun activities and all the sweet treats too. So bring on the cakes, candy canes, and holiday pies because Crest has you covered!
I am so excited to be partnering with Crest this year to help spread the word about an amazing story. To celebrate the season of giving, Crest partnered with Wish of a Lifetime, a non-profit organization that grants wishes to seniors across the county, to fulfill the wish of Bertha Nunn. Bertha is an 86 year old former corrections officer and teacher’s assistant. Her lifelong dream is to star in a national television commercial. Guess what!? Crest helped make this wish happen for her through their new holiday ad spot.
I love that Crest is doing this. The holidays are about giving back and, by granting Bertha’s wish, they are celebrating the inherent wisdom and special value of our older generations. This story really inspired me in so many ways. On my social media channels, I am always preaching about motivation and going after your dreams. Know that It’s never too late to fulfill a dream–I believe this wholeheartedly. Bertha is 86 years old, but she didn’t let that stop her from following her dreams. So, if she can do it, so can you. Start today. You don’t have to wait until you have everything in place. When I first started this blog, I didn’t have it all figured out, I simply just started. If you want to follow your dreams, you have to go after them. Please don’t wait! Let this story of Bertha be an inspiration for you to go after your dreams no matter how old you are because that does not matter!
If you didn’t know, Crest is the official toothpaste of Santa Claus! I am so happy that Crest is giving people a lot to smile about this holiday season. So stay on the lookout for Bertha in her commercial debut! Share her amazing story and spread some holiday cheer this year!
