We are a month into 2017, and I have been thinking about what my hair goals will be for this year. Now that I’ve had a few weeks to think about it, and I want to make sure I do better this year with my hair than in 2016 so I have decided to set some goals for my hair. I believe that setting goals are a good way for me to keep my hair in good health for this year. So here are a few goals that I plan to achieve this year and I will measure my growth at the end of the year
Retain Length
Since my haircut, in September my main focus is health over length. I will be honest though I miss my long hair just a little bit. So I would like to retain length this year. To help me with this I started taking CURLS Blissful Lengths Liquid Hair Growth Vitamin. I am not the best at taking the vitamin in pill form, so I am going to try this out. So far so good! I don’t taste anything, so I like them. I am so excited because this product can be found at www.curls.biz and your local Target 🙂 It absorbs up to 98% of the vitamins in the bloodstream vs. up to 20% from pills. It is also formulated with a time release proprietary blend of bioactive coenzymes and vitamins and nutrients. It also supports skin health with NO BREAKOUTS! Talk about a winner! So follow along with me to see my growth!
Drink More Water
I will admit that I need to drink more water. Not only is water good for my health it is also good to help keep my hair moisturized from the inside out. Water helps the body to process and also flush out toxins faster, which in turn help your hair grow faster.
Wear More Low-Manipulation Styles
I have been doing good in this area, but I want to continue to do as less to my hair as possible in between wash days. Wearing my twists for a week then rocking a twist out and then a bun. That’s my current schedule for my styling process 🙂
Stay Consistent With My Healthy Hair Regimen
Staying consistent with your hair regimen the major key! Making sure I am staying on top of my healthy hair regimen. If you don’t have a hair regimen, you need to start one asap. It is so important for you to have a foundation to care for your hair. You will see a major difference once you implement a healthy hair regimen.
Disclaimer: I was provided the Curls Blissful Lengths Vitamin for review. As always all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Have you set any hair goals for 2017?

January 30, 2017 at 12:49 pmI’m not actually sure what I want my hair goals to be for this year. I either want to grow mine out, or cut it short. Oh, the choices.

January 31, 2017 at 8:46 amI definitely need to set some goals for my hair this year! My main focus is getting more moisture into my hair. Because it’s colored, I have to put a lot more care into it. I’ll have to get my routine together in 2017!

January 31, 2017 at 7:42 pmI am still looking for a low maintenance style for the winter. I love my afro but it can be tedious in cold weather.

January 31, 2017 at 11:33 pmI want enough hair to make a poof! 🙂 my hair seems to be growing painfully slow right now. It’s like it plateaued after my last big chop nearly three years ago. I was hoping to hit the goal by summer but that would take a miracle.
