10 Random Facts about Me

 

I thought it would be cool for you all to get to know me a little bit better. If you have been around since the beginning of Happily Ever Natural, I thank you for sticking with me through my journey and beyond. As you may have noticed, HEN has began to transform to a Lifestyle and Beauty blog. That still includes hair so do be alarmed! 🙂 I just like to talk about more than just hair and I hope you are ok with that.

I was asked what are 10 random facts about me that you may not know, and I thought it would be fun to give it a try so here we go. Oh, and this is a no judge zone!

1. I hate SPIDERS.

Like, I am terrified. I will call my husband, wake him up out of his sleep, do whatever I have to do so that someone can kill the spider. No, I cannot kill the spider myself I can’t bring myself to do that.

2. I am in the healthcare profession

I still have a 9-5 as a healthcare professional. I actually enjoy my job. I hold a Masters of Health Administration from Governors State University, I graduated in 2011.

3. I am obsessed with Pinterest

I love everything about pinterest. I can spend hours on end looking up DIY projects, recipes, outfit ideas, makeup and so much more. Thank you to whoever created Pinterest you are a God send.

4. I am 29 years old

Yep pushing on 30 this year. Most people think I am super young (good genes run in my family), but I will be 30 on September 25th of this year.

5. Makeup is my secret obsession

I have so much makeup its crazy. I just really started getting into makeup in my late 20’s. Before then I never cared about makeup, now you can’t keep me out of Sephora or Ulta. So if you ever want to buy me a birthday gift *cough, cough*

6. My favorite food is a Chicago Style Hot Dog

Yes I can eat hotdogs every day. Love them so much, Chicago Style though, Mustard and Relish only 🙂

7. I am the youngest of 3 siblings

I have 2 older brothers and an older sister. Like I’m talking about they are 16+ years older than me. So its like having 2 sets of parents sometimes. Eh.

8. I always wanted to be an Optometrist

All through high school, and college I wanted to graduate with a biology degree and then go to optometry school afterwards. It’s funny how life works out. I ended up getting a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Administration and then a Master of Health Administration.

9. I used to work at Starbucks

BEST JOB EVER! Like, that place is amazing. Having a discount didn’t hurt either. I miss that so much, shout out to the Baristas!

10. I love watching lifetime movies

I know they are predictable most of the time, but I like watching them. If that was the only channel that we had in my home, I would be ok with that. I can spend my whole entire day sitting and watching lifetime 🙂
