It’s almost time for back to school shopping! Do you shop at Goodwill? I’m excited to be partnering with Goodwill to give you some tips on back to school shopping. Goodwill is a great place to grab summer clothes for the kiddos, pick up some extra stuff for your picnic or even to grab beach towels or even some books to read this summer. I love Goodwill because they dont break the bank and they have thousands of unique items that hit the floor on a daily basis. You can always find something amazing at Goodwill!
Here are some of my tips for shopping at Goodwill for your kids
- Allow yourself plenty of time to shop. When you are shopping kids clothing, make sure you give yourself enough time to go through all of the racks. You can find so many good pieces in between other items so make sure you really take your time to look.
- Go straight to what you came to get. Head straight to the kids section, most are seperated for boys and girls. Don’t get distracted by the womens clothes on the way lol!
- Try everything on. Don’t just assume thee clothes will automatically fit. Make sure your kids try things, so take them with you. Trust me it will make things easier.
- Off Season Items are a great find. I know you may be shopping for summer items or back to school but it is a good idea to shop for off season items as well. Don’t be afraid to look for winter items or also Holiday clothing. A great shopping pro tip is that most people will be looking for winter clothes in the winter and you’ll already be done!
- Don’t forget about discount days. You can join Club Goodwill Rewards and you will earn a point for every dollar you spend.
