Teaching My Daughter The Importance of “Being Good”

This post was sponsored by Be Good For Children. As always all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I can’t believe that the Holidays are right around the corner. It’s December, we just put up our tree last week, and now it’s time to go shopping for gifts for the family.

Today I am super excited to be partnering with Be Good to share how I teach Riley the meaning of giving back and being good. When I first heard the name of this brand, I instantly knew I would love it. Be Good is a brand inspired by motherhood and is also a socially conscious, next generation for this generation, natural personal care company for kids. Be Good is full of charm, free of harmful ingredients, and is suitable for children of all ages. It was created by a mother who recognized the need to create clean, safe, virtue-based products that would help teach children the value of good behavior and good grooming.

Be Good formulas are free of parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, gluten, synthetic dyes, DEA, palm oil, added hormone disrupters, petrolatums, dioxanes from sulfates, phosphates, BPA, animal by-products and no animal testing. I am always aware of the grooming products that I am using for Riley, so I am happy that this brand is safe and cruelty-free. So make sure to check out Be Good for a great stocking stuffer for your family members.

Another amazing thing I love about this brand is their message. Be Good’s message stresses that everyday moments can be teaching moments for your children. This is a philosophy that my husband and I live by, and we share it with Riley on a daily basis.

But the Holidays aren’t always about gift giving. We strive to teach our daughter the importance of “being good” and giving back year round but especially around the holidays. I don’t want her to think the Holidays are just about gifts, and parties.

Here are a few ways I teach my toddler to “Be Good” Especially around the Holidays

  1. Always be polite
  2. Treat others the way you want to be treated
  3. Help those less fortunate than our family by volunteering, donating, etc. This year we are donating toys, clothes and giving food to our local homeless shelter

Be Good has an amazing stocking stuffer gift set for your family! It comes with full-size products of their best-selling items. 12 oz.  Be Honest 3-in-1 cleansing conditioner for hair, 12 oz. Be Polite moisturizing body wash, 6 oz. Be Caring nourish lotion for face and body in an adorable bag. It’s perfect for the holiday and stuffing your stockings!

Let me know how you are teaching your toddlers to Be Good this Holiday season or any time of the year.

Oh she’s super adorable! Kudos to you Michelle for being intentional about instilling those values in her at such an early age. The lesson in supporting brands that align with your values is one that is priceless as well.

This is so good and so important. Though he’s only 1.5 I’m actively looking for ways to show my son the importance of being good and selfless.
