How I Manifested My New Career Plus More in 2017

If you have been following me, then you know that 2016 was a life-changing year for me. I said 2017 would be the year of success and my word for the year was MANIFEST. In 2017 I worked hard, prayed, and manifested a brand new career!!!

I come from a healthcare background. At the beginning of 2016, I was working in compliance as an administrative assistant. I knew this job was not for me. I was depressed, and my hair was falling out and nothing felt right about that job. I knew something had to change. After a mere 8 months, I was let go from that job. It was a blessing that I was let go.

For the next 8 months, I was a freelance writer, blogger, influencer you name it. I put in the hard work and got opportunities left and right. I began to write in my gratitude journal everything I was grateful for and also things I was worried about. I had saved money for an emergency situation like this, but I also knew that I didn’t want to exhaust my entire savings. I asked God about my financial situation and also wrote down a few of my goals for 2017.

One day on FB I wrote a caption about anyone looking for social media managers. I knew this was something that I wanted to do because I LIVE and BREATHE Social Media. It’s very interesting to me, and I have always been good at it since starting my blog and branding my social media, so I wanted to help others and provide them with guidance with what I have learned.

 

I landed a few clients but had no idea I would manifest this right here into a CAREER! When it comes to finding a job or career, the universe knows what you want because you have put it out there.

Here is what you need to to do Manifest anything!

Get clear about what it is that you want. I knew I wanted a job in social media, so I started talking about it and putting it out there. I even began to look up social media jobs. Even as so specific in looking up the actual job title of the career I wanted!!

You need to do Research. Research the job or role that you are interested in. Find as much information as possible. Learning about the role shows that you want it!

Write in your journal. I know this helped me. Being able to visualize what I wanted by writing it down, how it would look drew the opportunity that much closer to me. I also wrote down some of my other goals which included appearing on TV! Guess what.. I WAS ON TV THIS YEAR TOO!!

Surrender. Once you put out into the universe, applied or asked God to send the job your way. Just surrender and let God and the universe do the rest. Once put it out there I got a phone call after speaking with someone that blew my mind. I got asked to come in for an interview with a company that I LOVE DOING MY DREAM JOB!!!

You also need to believe in yourself and your own abilities. We worry too often that after we have applied for jobs, or went on interviews whether we would get the job or not. Worrying does nothing but build resistance. So you just have to let your strengths show and know that you deserve what it is that you want. Speak and know that you are capable and deserving to receive what it is that you have asked for. From my notes above you can see that I asked to put the fear that I wasn’t good enough. I had to let those negative thoughts out to look past them. On May 15th I started my new career as a social media manager. GOD IS GOOD!

Remember that all you have to do is believe that anything is possible. Allow good things to happen, stay positive.
