Christmas is over but Winter is still in full swing! That means it’s still time for your favorite cup of hot cocoa. In my house, we love to get cozy and cuddle up and have family time playing our favorite board game with a cup of hot cocoa! Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time for snuggly nights by the fireplace, game night, and family fun time indoors with your favorite cup of hot cocoa too!
My daughter Riley has really been into cooking, baking and creating. She loves helping out in the kitchen and decided that she wanted to come up with her own hot cocoa recipe. She decided on strawberry hot cocoa!
We decided to head to our local Walmart to pick up some hot cocoa from Swiss Miss® and create the perfect cup of Strawberry hot cocoa. You can choose from Swiss Miss® Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows or without for this recipe.
Our favorite hot cocoa is Swiss Miss. I love that Swiss Miss® is made with real cocoa and also real nonfat milk. We decided to go with the Value Pack to get us through the winter and keep us warm. Swiss Miss® also has no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, flavors, or colors. It has the best taste and is sure to keep you cozy this winter.
Strawberry Hot Cocoa Recipe
What you will need:
- strawberry low-fat milk (14 ounces = 1-3/4 cups)
- 2 envelopes (1.38 oz each) Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
- Reddi-wip®® Original Dairy Whipped Topping
- Sprinkles, (optional)
Directions:
STEP ONE
Heat milk in 2-cup glass measure in microwave on HIGH 2 minutes or until hot. Then stir in cocoa mix until well blended.
STEP TWO
Divide hot cocoa mixture between 2 mugs. Top off each mug with a serving of Reddi-wip®. Add sprinkles, if desired.
