This post is sponsored by Brookfield zoo. As always all thoughts and opinions are my own.
If you are like me (if you have kids) then you are looking for all of the kid friendly things to do this summer. Living in Chicago there are a ton of things to do with the kids this summer. We are super excited about Brick Safari at Brookfield Zoo this summer.
Brick Safari at Brookfield Zoo features more than 40 life-size animal sculptures that have been created from millions of individual colored LEGO® bricks! Riley loves Legos so when I found out about this exhibit I knew we had to visit. Many of the sculptures in the exhibit are based on Brookfield Zoo favorites, such as the lion, giraffe, snow leopard, and pangolin.
There are tons of photo opportunities for the photo loving mom! Riley got to take a super cool photo in a Safari Jeep made of legos.
The best thing is that this exhibit is good fun for the whole family! Great for the science and art lovers (our family loves art). There are also colorful graphics that feature interesting facts and even a poem about each animal are displayed next to the sculptures. I thought this was a very cool feature!
Brick Safari is currently open during zoo hours and the cost is just $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-11 and seniors 65 and over. If you have infants and small children, children 2 and under get in for free!! Score mamma! Also, Brookfield Zoo members receive half off the price of admission. The Brick Safari Exhibit is open until Sept. 29.
