I’ll admit that it has gotten super cold here in Chicago, and it is taking a toll on my lips, face, and my body! I have noticed that my lips have been super dry as of lately, and I am simply tired of dealing with it. I have been wanting to make my own DIY Lip Scrub for some time now so I decided to take the plunge and make some. I made a super easy DIY Lip Scrub that you can create in under ten minutes!!
The ingredients are super easy to find! You may have a few of the ingredients lying around in your house right now!
I began with some coconut oil. Coconut oil is an amazing natural moisturizer. I also used sugar, honey and also peppermint essential oil.
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp. honey
- 3-4 drops peppermint essential oil
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl with a spoon or fork, once mixed I transferred to a small mason jar. I had enough to make one and give it to my sister as a gift :). This can be a great stocking stuffer!!!
