Suffering from oily skin is sometimes a hassle, especially when my oil regularly comes through my makeup. I love creating DIY beauty products so, I decided to make a facial scrub to help combat my oily skin.
All of the ingredients for this facial scrub can be easily found in your house or are not hard to get at your local grocery store. Here is what you will need for this:
DIY Scrub For Oily Skin
- 1/2 Cup Oatmeal
- 1 tbsp. of Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp of Lemon Juice
The benefits of this DIY Scrub for Oily skin is that it helps with breakouts, it also helps to exfoliate your skin as well as reduce redness.
Begin by mixing the ingredients together into a paste and then applying to your skin. Leave on for up to 5 minutes then rinse with cool water and a washcloth. The ingredients in this DIY scrub for oily skin help to exfoliate and also brighten your skin. The sugar and oatmeal exfoliate and the apple cider vinegar act as a toner to help tone skin and mop up oil. I also use ACV as a toner with equal parts water.
What have you tried for your oily skin? Has it worked? I am hoping that this scrub continues to work for my oily skin.
