Over the past year, my makeup interests have grown and so has my makeup collection. I have always wanted a super cute vanity in my room that I could sit at and do my makeup. The problem is that I never found one that would fit into my room without taking up too much space. I also did not want to spend a whole lot of money on a vanity either. So I took matters into my own hands and I decided to make my own vanity. I have a small house with only one bathroom, so it was a hassle trying to get ready in my bathroom and do my makeup. My husband and I went to IKEA and then we got to work. Check out how I created a super cute vanity under $100!
-
- MICKE Desk in Brown $49.00
- Folding Chair in Black $7.00
I also saw so many girls on Pinterest that made their DIY Vanity mirrors. I didn’t necessarily want a super huge mirror so I found an alternative.
I wanted to make sure I was able to keep my makeup organized so I also purchased a makeup organizer.
- Makeup Organizer $14
The desk also has a drawer where you can store your makeup. I put most of my eyeshadow palettes and larger items into the drawer.
Yep and that’s it! All of this for under $100. Now I have a super cute space to do my makeup and not feel crammed in my bathroom. I have so much makeup so this desk is perfect. I am such a girly girl and I love to do my makeup so I spend a lot of time at this vanity! I want to thank my husband for putting it together for me because if it wasn’t for him, it probably would still be in the box!

December 19, 2016 at 2:29 pmI really like your vanity idea. It’s very organized and leaves a great deal of space to use. Now, if I can only zoom in to see the types of makeup items you use. 🙂
