Rod Set on Natural Hair..Plus my PARTY Deets!!
Hello everyone!! Sorry I have been a little MIA I know LOL. I was preparing for my housewarming party and getting the house together. 
whew now that’s over!!
So for my party I decided to try out something new that I have never tried myself before… a rod set!! Let me tell you that I will be doing this style more often… because I LOVE IT!!!
What I used:
- Shampoo : Cream of Nature with Argan Oil
- Deep Contditioner: EdenBodyworks All Natural Deep Conditioner (MY NEW FAV OMG!!!)
- EdenBodyworks Coconut Shea Leave in (LOVE IT)!!
- Design Essentials Curl Enhancing Mousse to set
- White Perm Rods
So I did the set on Friday Night and let it set all day until Saturday Here is a pic before I took the rods out and one before I separated the curls!
The Results after I separated hair:
I was in LOVE with this style!!! I got soooo many complements!! (Even the question of … is that all your hair or a WIG! HA LOL)
Meanwhile at my housewarming party… WE HAD A BLLLLAAASSSTTT… Check out some pics!!

Product Review: Dr. Miracles Curl Care Strong Hold Gel + My Cousin’s Marley Twists
Hey Naturalistas. Here with a review. So I received the Dr. Miracles Strong Hold Gel and decided to give it a whirl. I’m A Eco Styler Type of girl. My cousin came over because she wanted me to do her Marley Twists, so I decided to try this gel on her .
Description:
Here’s a gel with a name that says exactly what it does. STRONG HOLD GEL – with protein and collagen for added strength, moisture and conditioning. Use this gel to get a strong hold on your curls…UP TO 12 Hours!
Ingredients:
Deionized Water (Aqua), Glycerine, Polysorbate – 20, VP/ VA copolymer, Honey, PVP, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Silk, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Biotin, Panthenol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Menthol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Citronellol, d-Limonene, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal (Hexyl Cinnamic Aldehyde), Linalool
My Review:
Not bad, but I STILL LOVE ECO STLER! Not sure I if I would ever use it like I use my Eco Styler gel. Its a little sticky, other than that it gave my cousins twists good hold. I used it along with the ECO styler to create her Marley twists. But it does hold well so I give it a B+
